WHAT IS A PAPER-TRACKER?

PAPER-TRACKER is a device that uses two transparent sheets of plastic, folded and nested, to form offset layers of plastic, held together with a binding mechanism to create a pressure region between the layers of plastic. PAPER-TRACKER retains a document inserted between the plastic tabs by electrostatic and frictional force between the sheet material and the document. 

A significant advantage of PAPER-TRACKER is that the binder mechanism does not hold the documents. Instead, electrostatic forces and a pressure region adjacent to the binder mechanism combine to retain the documents. Therefore, the containment of the documents does not rely on gravity, on an active mechanical clipping mechanism, or on an adhesive or on a pin. PAPER-TRACKER permits easy, 1-hand, insertion and removal of the documents without damaging the documents in any manner, and without moving any of the other displayed documents.
